About
Alvaro Baraona began his career as a professional musician at the age of 17. As hiswriting skills made it to the Billboards in Spain and Latin America,
and he performed in front of arena-sized audiences, he worked on a musical project based on expanding musicians’ creative control of their complete audio-visual catalogue. The project was recognized by Forbes and the Mexican Government, thus opening the door to regular appearances in mass media newspapers and television.

With a peculiar combination of creativity and pragmatism, Baraona studied physics and worked in medical research at the same time, building bridges between the artistic and scientific mindset, bringing unique perspectives on problem solving and efficiency.

In 2022, as his involvement in video production grew, his expanding interest in audiovisuals and narrative led him to start formal studies on programming, CGI, and media production, rapidly achieving a role as a CG Generalist in a documentary for TV5Monde about the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Alvaro Baraona—also known as Alvaro Rodriguez—chose to use Baraona as part of his nom de plume to honor his grandmother, who raised him
for years. His grandmother has always encouraged his love of books and cinema. Now settled in Paris, Baraona spends his time between watching Monty Python, admiring the ever-present architectural grandeur, and completing his physics degree. He also enjoys the cinema scene in the city, learning all about the greatest storytellers.
